Dr. Hargrove grew up in Owatonna and received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Hamline University. She went on to medical school at the University of Minnesota, followed by an Internal Medicine residency and Rheumatology fellowship, also at the University. She finds the explosion of knowledge regarding immune abnormalities in rheumatic diseases and the resulting new treatments both stimulating and rewarding. She enjoys the challenge of helping patients understand and live productively with chronic rheumatic conditions.
Jody and her husband John enjoy biking, skiing, rollerblading, and fishing in their free time.
